1. Rewards
Every campaign should have rewards. Rewards incentivize fans to share, refer friends and follow you on social media.
- What rewards will you offer? Click HERE to see best practice rewards suggestions and examples
2. Timeline
The campaign timeline will be based on your event timeline, and the type of campaign you are running (Presale, Competition, Waitlist or Ballot).
- When is your event?
- When will you announce your lineup? For best results the campaign launch should coincide with this announcement.
- How long will the campaign run for? Best practice for a presale campaign is 3-7 days.
- When will your presale tickets go on sale?
- When will the general on sale commence?
2. Copy
Within the campaign, you will need to provide a description of the event itself.
- We recommend using the same copy as your general event promotion.
3. Artwork
Campaigns must include headline and prize artwork.
A. Headline Artwork
Best practice artwork for a competition
Dimensions: 1200x628
File Type: JPG or PNG
File Size: Less than 1MB
B. Prize Artwork
Best practice artwork for incentives (rewards/prizes)
Dimensions: 1200x628
File Type: JPG or PNG
File Size: Less than 1MB
4. Promotion
You should consider how you will launch and promote your campaign.
- Will you send out an EDM to a targeted database or segment?
- Which social channels will you promote on?
- Will you have a digital ad spend for the duration of campaign?
5. Tracking (optional)
If you would like to track your campaign (e.g. Facebook Pixel or Google Tag Manager) the entire pixel code is needed as shown below:
<!-- Facebook Pixel Code -->
<script>
!function(f,b,e,v,n,t,s)
{if(f.fbq)return;n=f.fbq=function(){n.callMethod?
n.callMethod.apply(n,arguments):n.queue.push(arguments)};
if(!f._fbq)f._fbq=n;n.push=n;n.loaded=!0;n.version='2.0';
n.queue=[];t=b.createElement(e);t.async=!0;
t.src=v;s=b.getElementsByTagName(e)[0];
s.parentNode.insertBefore(t,s)}(window, document,'script',
'https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/fbevents.js');
fbq('init', 'your-pixel-id-goes-here');
fbq('track', 'PageView');
</script>
<noscript>
<img height="1" width="1" style="display:none"
src="https://www.facebook.com/tr?id=your-pixel-id-goes-here&ev=PageView&noscript=1"/>
</noscript>
<!-- End Facebook Pixel Code -->
