How to get your DICE access token

Modified on Fri, 7 Jun at 9:04 AM

To connect DICE to your Audience Republic account, it requires you to have an Access Token code.

How to get your DICE access token

  • Log into your DICE account
  • Go to Integrations > Ticket holders API
  • Copy the Ticket holder API access token code

  • Open your Audience Republic account
  • Go to Account Settings > Integrations
  • Once Connect is clicked, a window will appear
  • Please fill out the following options:
  • Access Token: paste the code into Access Token

  • Subscribe Associated Contacts to List - You can create an email/SMS list in our messaging area and link the import of DICE contacts to this list automatically. It is recommended you create your contact list first, then proceed with this step. Learn how to Create a list here

  • Auto-apply tags to fans imported from DICE. By turning this ON, you will be able to auto-apply tags to fans imported from DICE. You can click Artists, Genres, and Venues which will automatically import those fans with the tags of the artists, genres and venues they’ve attended or liked. You can also create your custom Tag prefix. Eg: Dice - Artists.

  • Once all of this has been done, please hit Confirm. You will then see the below screen appear with syncing, then connected. Our example was Petrisor Inc.

  • Please note, that the account that was synced will appear on the Top right-hand side. You can also add a second account to sync if you wish.

What data will be synced?

  • Event data: name, date, ID, time
  • Ticket/order data: price, ID, purchase time
  • Contact data: Full name, email address, city, country, mobile number, tags (if applicable)
  • Auto sync frequency is 130 minutes

What data won't be synced?

  • Refund data
  • Contact ID
  • State
  • Postcode
  • Gender
  • Does not resync events, if they were deleted

Data Discrepancy

Please note there may be a 3-5% data discrepancy with our ticketing integrations. This is a normal occurrence as we are a data aggregator and each ticketing platform has its unique way of calculating and displaying ticketing data. Therefore, when such data is displayed in Audience Republic, a certain percentage of difference is to be expected.
