Fallback names and unique codes enable the bot to provide an alternate response when there is no result based on the user's input. Such as if your contacts didn't have a first name attached to their data, or your contacts didn't receive a unique code in the message.
Before you get started
- Make sure you have created a message
Recommended fallbacks for name
Set a fallback like “Hi friend,” “Hi there”, or "Hi Beliebers," so your contacts will get an email with a nice greeting instead of an offputting “Hi [first_name]”
Recommended fallbacks for unique codes
Unique codes are generated through your ticketing platform, if you want to include a fallback, we suggest adding a general code that's accessible to all fans.
You could also include this in your message: "contact the Promoter (promoters email@__.com) if your code doesn't appear"
