For some Campaigns (for instance, those which involve the offer of a reward to a Fan) it may be appropriate for you to specify terms and conditions to the Fan so they understand how they can get the reward. It is your sole responsibility to:
- Decide whether terms and conditions are required, or are appropriate for your Campaign; and
- Decide what those terms and conditions shall be; and
- Ensure that any terms and conditions you may use between you and a Fan (including any template terms and conditions offered by us to you, but which are used at your own discretion) are appropriate, fair, commercially acceptable to you and are not prohibited in each jurisdiction in which you are using them; and
- Ensure that any terms and conditions you may use are provided by you to the Fan before the Fan commits to participate in your Campaign.
Before you get started
- Make sure you have created a campaign
- Ensure you have your own unique Terms and Conditions that relate to your event/campaign
How to add Terms and Conditions to your campaign
- Go to the Campaigns menu
- Select ⋮ Edit Campaign
- In Step 1: Set Up Campaign, scroll down and click on Advanced Settings
- Scroll down to Privacy and Compliance, and upload your Terms and Conditions (PDF file)
- Terms and conditions will appear under "Terms of Service" in the campaign registration
Examples of when to use terms and conditions
- Age requirements for the event (such as 18+ or 21+)
- Eligibility for a prize/reward based on country or state of residence (e.g. for a flyaway)
- Requirement for winners of prizes/rewards to be ticket holders
- Where a prize that's rewarded is dependent (e.g. weather permitting, or dependent on a third party)
Attached is an example only of a Terms and conditions PDF file. Ensure you have your own unique Terms and Conditions that relate to your event/campaign.
