Why Domain Authentication?

  • It verifies the email from its origin by validating the email sender.
  • Enhances your sender reputation, ensuring your emails don't land in the spam filter.
  • To avoid deliverability issues, complete domain authentication before sending your first email from Audience Republic.

Adding CNAME Records to your DreamHost account

  • Log in to your DreamHost account
  • Navigate to the Manage Websites page.
  • Open the DNS Settings page:
    DNS Settings
  • If in Grid view, click ⋮ and click DNS Settings
  • If in List view, click ⋮ and click DNS Settings
  • Click Add Record
  • Hover over the CNAME Record section and click ADD
  • Add the CNAME Records
  • Click Save
  • Repeat for the other CNAME Records

Whitelisting IP addresses

Ensure you whitelist the following IP addresses as provided by Audience Republic:

  • 149.72.31.51
  • 167.89.53.93
  • 149.72.80.52
  • 198.37.147.77
  • 149.72.207.81
  • 149.72.232.237

These are the IP addresses that Face to Face will be sending from and we typically ask that they be white-listed to ensure successful deliverability, especially for test emails sent to themselves.

Please Note: Completing these steps before sending your first email is crucial, or it could jeopardize your email reputation.
