Before you get started
- Make sure you have access to the Messaging Menu
- Ensure you have created a signup form
How it works
- Toggle for enabling the feature in setup.
- Immediate email will be sent upon signup.
- There will be an option to resend the verification email.
- You will be able to edit the email field.
- Compatibility with existing forms.
How to set up Email Verification for Signup forms
- Go into your Signup form
- On Step 2 of the signup form, scroll down to 'Verify your registrants'
- Enable the toggle to ON
*Note: When the 'Email Verification' toggle is switched on, contacts will receive a verification code via email. Only after verifying will they be added to your message lists.
Registrant Experience
- After the registrant subscribes to the Signup form, they will receive an email containing their code
Example:
- After they enter the code
- They must click 'submit' to complete the signup
