How to connect to Megatix

Connecting to Megatix is a simple process that requires a few steps. 

Before you get started

  • Make sure you have a Megatix Account
  • Ask your Customer Success Manager for the Audience Republic API token
  • Regions of operation: Australia, New Zealand, and Asia
  • Please be aware that new events created in Megatix will only be synced

Sync a specific Megatix event

  • Find the event in the Dashboard and enter the summary page
  • Go to “Integrations” on the left menu


 

  • Enter the Audience Republic API Token into the relevant field:

 

 

  • Click Save

 

From this page you can see the last updated time, and also force a sync with Audience Republic.


How to connect to Megatix

*This will sync new events created in Megatix only

  • Login to your Megatix account
  • Go to Presenters in the Megatix main Dashboard menu
  • Edit the appropriate presenter
  • Scroll down to the “Integrations” section and enter the Audience Republic API Token into the relevant field

 

 

  • Click Save

 

What data will be synced?

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Contact ID
  • Mobile number (without country code)
  • Resyncs Full Event Data Manually 
  • Ticket price
  • Order ID
  • Date & time of puase


What data won't be synced?

  • Event image
  • Tour information
  • Refund data
  • Does not include country code in mobile numbers
  • City
  • State
  • Country
  • Postcode
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Tags
  • Does not resync events if they are deleted 


Data Discrepancy

Please note there may be a 3-5% data discrepancy with our ticketing integrations. This is a normal occurrence as we are a data aggregator and each ticketing platform has its unique way of calculating and displaying ticketing data. Therefore, when such data is displayed in Audience Republic, a certain percentage of difference is to be expected.


How to reconnect to Megatix

The integration is connected through an API key, so you’ll need to either:

  1. Re-enter the existing API Token you have, or
  2. Request a new API Token from your customer success manager, which they can issue upon request.
