How to sync Google Ads account

Modified on Wed, 7 Aug at 9:47 AM

Use the Account Settings tab to sync segments to your Google Ads account.

Saved segments can be automatically synced to Google to save time and streamline your workflow.

Before you get started

  • Ensure you have a Google Ads account
  • Have access to Audience Manager
  • Reach out to your customer success manager or [email protected] to request access to set up Google Custom Audiences

Please be advised that Google Ad Audience Manager will only show a matched percentage of the contacts that have been synced; it will not display each contact's email address.

Setting up your Google Ads account

  • Our team will go to the backend of your account to set this up. From Account Settings > Integrations tab
  • Please ensure you are logged in to your Google Ad account

Example:

  • Click the Sync button to Sync your segments
  • Please wait approximately 60 minutes for the audience to appear in your Google Ad account

  • You will find your synced segments in your Google Ads account:
  • Go to Tools > Audience Manager

  • If you are still using the previous user interface, go to Tools & Settings, click Shared Library, then choose Audience Manager to view your synced segments:

  • Go to your Google Ads account and refresh your browser
  • After 60 minutes, you will see the segment(s) populating:

  • Google Ad Audience Manager will only show a matched percentage of the contacts that have been synced; it will not display each contact's email address.
