How to design an email

You can design your email using the email builder when sending an email message, or by creating an email template.

Canvas

The email builder has a large area in the middle which is the email design canvas.

Settings

Click on the Settings menu to edit the overall characteristics of the email, including:

Text colour
Background colour
Background image
Content area width
Font default
Link colour

Rows

You can create your email layout using a series of rows. Rows are like containers that hold different types of content. You can add as many rows as you like to an email. Simply drag and drop the rows into the editor to design the layout.

Content

Once you've designed the layout with blocks, you are ready to drag and drop different content elements.

Columns:	Insert column blocks	HTML:	Insert HTML code
Insert Events:	Insert event details from your events menu	Social:	Insert icons and links for your social channels
Text:	Insert text	Divider:	Insert a dividing line between content
Heading:	Insert a heading	Timer:	Insert a live countdown timer
Image:	Insert an uploaded image **Ensure your image file name does NOT contain the % symbol as it will not* upload***	Video:	Insert a YouTube video
Button:	Insert a button (e.g. for a call to action)	Dynamic Tags:	Insert dynamic tags (custom merge fields) via upload
Table:	Insert a table	Paragraph:	Insert a paragraph
List:	Insert a list (e.g. to highlight important events or information)	Menu:	Insert a Menu (to provide a detailed list of options offered to recipients)
Icons:	Insert an Icon to convey meaning and prompt users to take action while using less screen space than text
