Send personalised, responsive, beautiful emails from the Messaging menu.
Before you get started
- Create a list and add contacts to send the email to
- Before sending your first email from Audience Republic, we strongly recommend that you complete domain authentication to avoid deliverability issues
How to send an email
- Navigate to the Messaging menu
- Choose the Messages tab
- Click New Message and choose Email from the drop-down menu
- Step 1:
- Name your Email: Name the email message (internal use only, the message name displays on the messaging tab)
- To: From the drop-down menu, select the list to send the email message to.
Select the Filter option to segment the recipients, then click Save
- From: Select the address that the email message will be sent from
- Message Details: This is the email Subject line / Preview line that displays in the inbox (see HERE for best practice)
- Link Click Tracking: Enable ON or OFF: If enabled ON, you will be able to track link clicks
- Choose Design an Email to continue
- Step 2:
- Select the type of email (Design from Scratch or Use a Template)
- Step 3:
- Design the email with the drag-and-drop email builder, or use a pre-saved template
- Send a test email if you like
- Step 4:
- Select Save and Exit to continue or to exit
- It will take you back to Step 1 where you can review the email message
- When you're ready to send it, click Prepare to Send
- Step 5:
- Click Send Now
Filter your recipient list
For better targeting, filter your recipient list using either our quick or advanced options:
Quick filters
- By clicking on the 'Show quick filters' link:
- You have the option to apply one of the following filters:
- Contacts with or without a particular tag
- Whether contacts did or didn't open a specific previous message
- Whether contacts did or didn't click on a specific previous message
- Whether contacts did or didn't purchase a ticket to a specific event
- Whether contacts did or didn't register to a specific campaign
Insert Dynamic Tags
- In Message Details, insert the Dynamic Tag in the Subject line
- Click Save
Advanced filters
- For more advanced filters, click on the Filter button next to the recipient list ('To' field):
- A side panel will appear where you can select from previously saved segments, and apply complex filters (i.e. more than one condition, with and/or logic).
Filters used on Sent emails
- After sending an email, click on Sent To
- This will show the filters that have been applied
