When importing mobile numbers into Audience Republic, the country codes in your import file must meet certain formatting requirements, or the import may not succeed.
Before you get started
- Make sure you have a CSV file with the contacts information included
Mobile number requirements
- The cell format should be General or Text
- Mobile numbers must include:
- International country calling code
- Area code
- Phone number - Numbers and '+' symbol will be accepted
Spaces and dashes will be ignored
How to reformat mobile numbers to include country codes
- Open your excel CSV file
- Add another column next to the Phone number column
- Write: ="(country code) "&cell reference
- Click on the cell formula, move the pointer to the bottom right corner so it turns into a + sign
- Double click to auto-fill that formula all the way down
