Custom Fields in Audience Manager Filters
- In the Audience Manager, click Filter
- Select Custom Field
- Select the field(s)
- Click Apply
Filtering based on Custom Fields
- Availability: This functionality is available in the Audience Table or when sending an email or SMS from the messaging tab of an event or campaign.
Populating Custom Fields
- Via CSV Import: Currently, you are only able to import into Plain Text, Date, or Number fields. We plan to add support for dropdown field types in a future release. Also, you can only import into custom fields via ‘Import Contacts’ on the Audience Table.
Import CSV with Custom Fields
- After you've created a Custom Field, go to the Audience Manager
- Click Import Conacts
- Map the custom field(s)
- You can also add the Custom Field(s) as a Tag
*Please note, when importing, you cannot select multiple values
Multi-select Profile fields are not supported in the Import process. To make the custom field selectable in the Import process, please change it to a single-select option.
Custom Fields in Customer Profiles
- In the Audience Manager, click on a customer's profile
- In the overview tab (sidebar) scroll down to Custom Fields
- Any existing Custom Fields will be shown in the customer's profile
- You can also add Custom Fields
How to export fans who have custom fields
- Go to the Audience Manager
- Select the customers you'd like to export
- In the right-hand corner, click the three dots
- Select Export
Data included in the export:
- Name
- Phone
- State
- City
- Country
- Custom fields
