Importing ticket sales & events

Before you get started

Importing Ticket sales and/or Events

  • Go to the Events page
  • Click Import Events

  • Select the Type of import:


  • Select the Date Format, Timezone, Currency and Ticket Provider

  • Click Continue
  • Upload your CSV


  • Map the Columns to the correct Fields
  • *Ensure there are no brackets () in Mobile numbers, otherwise an error will appear like below:

  • *If you're including Custom Fields, you must create the Custom Fields before starting the import


  • Click Next
  • If there are any formatting errors in your CSV file, the system will display the errors
  • Select Delete ALL rows with errors to clean your file

  • Click Import


How to manage opt-ins/opt-outs when importing ticket sales

If you are manually importing ticket sales data, we recommend first importing the ticket sales into the event.
After that, edit the CSV file to
 remove any contacts who have not opted in to marketing communications. Your ticketing provider should include a column in the CSV file of ticket sales that shows whether purchasers have opted in or not.

Once edited, you can then import only the opted-in contacts into a list to ensure that only those who have opted in are added.
