Resend a message using opened / clicked filters

To increase sales or boost engagement, you're able to use message filters to resend a message to recipients who didn't open or didn't click previously.


Before you get started

  • To use unopened/unclicked message filters, you need to have sent an email or SMS message


How to resend a message using opened / clicked filters

  • Navigate to the Messaging menu
  • Choose the Messages tab
  • Create a new message or duplicate a previous send
  • On the Setup the basics page, name the message and select the list you want to use
  • A new filter box will appear with a drop down menu. 'Send to entire list' is selected by default. Change this to Opened message / Didn't open message or Clicked message / Didn't click message



  • From the 'Send only to people' drop down menu, select your preference (did or didn't open or did or didn't click) and then choose the previous message(es) that the filter applies to.



  • The number of recipients will calculate based on your filters. Please allow some time for the recipients to load if your list is large.


Message filters aren't updating

If you are having trouble with the message filters not updating or the email not sending due to this, please go back to the "Send To" section in your email and select the list again

  • Then re-select the filters to force a refresh
