Schedule a message

When you create an email or SMS message, you can schedule it to be sent at a certain date and time.

Before you get started 

  • To schedule a message, you first need to draft the email or SMS

How to schedule an email

  • Create an email or access a draft on the Messages tab
  • At the Message Summary page, Click Prepare to Send
  • Enable the toggle for Schedule Message to reveal Date and Time fields
  • Enter the Date, Time, and Timezone for the message to be sent, then click Schedule and confirm in the pop-up message by clicking Schedule Message

  • On the Messages tab, the message will show as Scheduled.


How to schedule an SMS

  • Create an SMS or access a draft on the Messages tab
  • Make sure you have ticked the checkbox next to 'I agree to charge my credit card' 
  • On the Send an SMS page, tick the Schedule checkbox
  • Enter the Date, Time, and Timezone for the message to be sent, then click Schedule and confirm in the pop-up message by clicking Schedule Message

  • On the Messages tab, the message will show as Scheduled.

How to edit or cancel a scheduled message

  • On the Messages tab, click the icon
  • To change the scheduled time on an email message, click edit and press the next button twice to return to the Message Summary page where you can make changes. 
    *Note that you can't change the scheduled time for an SMS message.
    *Once you've scheduled the message and have exited, it will show this next to the ON/OFF button when you go back to edit the scheduled time.
  • Under Schedule Message, Click on the Date or Time to edit these
  • Click Update
  • The ! icon shows the amount of time you have left until the scheduled message time cannot be edited

  • To cancel a message altogether, click ⋮
  • Cancel

  • Then Cancel Message 
    *Note: scheduled messages cannot be canceled 5 min or less, from the scheduled time*

  • Once the message has been canceled, it will appear at the bottom of your Messages with the status "canceled"
